On Friday, 19 December, a Christmas Eve gathering was held at the premises of the Occupational Therapy Workshops in Bolesławiec. The event was attended by WTZ participants and their parents, as well as distinguished guests: county executive Cezary Przybylski, deputy county executive Stanisław Chwojnicki, Danuta Marecka, head of the County Family Support Centre, Barbara Kostyra, head of the Social Affairs and Health Department of the County Office, Krystyna Boratyńska, head of the Municipal Office’s Social Department, Krzysztof Szymański, president of Bricomarché, Jadwiga Bobek, president of the Bolesławiec branch of the Society of Friends of Children, and Rev. Andrzej Gidziński.
The invited guests were welcomed by Justyna Ambroży, acting head of the WTZ. Rev. Gidziński blessed the Christmas wafers and festive dishes, and everyone gathered sat down at the holiday table.
The Christmas Eve gathering took place in an atmosphere full of family warmth and mutual kindness. The participants shared the Christmas wafer and exchanged good wishes.
After dinner, Santa Claus handed out presents to the WTZ participants. This day will remain in their memories for a long time.
