The exhibition’s author holds a doctorate in veterinary medicine and owns an animal clinic in Lwówek Śląski. He has been painting for ten years. His favourite subjects are landscapes and architecture.
So far, he has presented his works in Kobyla Góra (June 2003) during the International Historical Session devoted to veterinary medicine, and in Borówno near Toruń (September 2003) during the celebration of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Chamber of Veterinary Medicine.
Jerzy Borowiec’s great passion is music, mainly jazz. He enjoys listening to it live and also owns a rich collection of compact discs and vinyl records, as well as literature devoted to this genre of music. He plays sports: skiing in winter, and tennis and mountain biking in summer.
He has been an active member of the veterinary medical corporation since its establishment. He currently serves as vice-president of the Lower Silesian Chamber of Veterinary Medicine. Jerzy Borowiec is the author of numerous scientific publications and articles concerning social and professional issues.
