In the 12th-round match of the Jelenia Góra regional league, BKS lost 1–2 (0–2) to Gryf Gryfów Śląski at Spółdzielcza. The muddy, waterlogged match was played on Sunday (29 October). From the opening minutes, the visitors adapted better to the difficult weather conditions. The pitch was waterlogged that day following heavy rainfall. In addition, strong gusts of wind were blowing.
Gryf took the lead in the 12th minute through a goal by Marek Wiedro. After this player’s shot, the ball first bounced off the crossbar before hitting the net. Bolesławiec tried to respond to the goal, but nothing went right for Sebastian Tylutki’s team that day. The ball alternately sped up and slowed down on the waterlogged pitch. Just before halftime, however, the visitors extended their lead to 2–0. Marek Wiedro was again the scorer. This time, the unmarked player headed the ball into the net.
After the break, BKS tried various ways to threaten Gryf’s goal, but clear scoring chances were few and far between. Adrian Kulesza had the best opportunity, but a moment’s hesitation allowed the defenders to beat him to the ball. In the 87th minute, Łukasz Graczyk headed home a consolation goal. There were no more goals in the match. After a poor, error-filled performance, BKS lost 1–2 to Gryf, and the three points went to Gryfów. Next week, Bolesławiec will play away against Łużyce Lubań.
