On Tuesday, December 16, a man notified the Bolesławiec police of the theft of a Toyota belonging to his boss. Investigators determined, however, that the 38-year-old had lied. It turned out that the employee had first caused a collision and then hidden the wrecked car in the forest. Afraid of his supervisor, he reported a false theft.
Police found the vehicle. The 38-year-old faces up to two years in prison for reporting a crime that had not been committed.
