The incident occurred on September 30, at approximately 1:00 a.m., at one of the household appliance service centers in Jelenia Góra. Wearing a balaclava, the 22-year-old broke into the company’s premises, threatened the employees with a pneumatic weapon (he fired a shot toward one of them), and then stole property worth nearly PLN 3,000. (This included two mobile phones, household appliances, documents and cash.)
The 22-year-old suspected of robbery was arrested. The man had previously been in conflict with the law. The court remanded him in custody for three months. The robber could face up to 12 years behind bars.
