The project involved students from the classes of the economics technical school, hotel management technical school, advertising organization technical school, and nutrition and catering services technical school.

The students completed their placement in Chemnitz, Germany. Some learned with actual employers (TH and TŻ), while others trained at German simulation companies (TE and TR). The placement lasted four weeks. According to the participants, it was a great adventure.

The economics students’ classes involved running their own trading company under German law, and above all, European Union law. The hotel management students primarily handled hotel guests and provided room service.

The marketing students learned effective ways of influencing consumers and created visualizations of advertising campaigns. Meanwhile, the nutrition group developed its culinary skills by learning to prepare regional dishes and about the culture of guest service.

Of course, the students did not spend their time exclusively studying and developing their vocational skills. They did a great deal of sightseeing and learned about the culture and customs. They improved their language skills and made new acquaintances.

The placement ended with the development of vocational competences. On Monday, October 2, during a ceremony marking the school holiday, all vocational groups presented the skills they had acquired during their placements. The participants also received Europass Certificates.

Congratulations!
