On Monday, October 2, we regretfully reported that Dariusz Kwaśniewski, former head of the County Board, had died. Due to a serious illness, the longtime local government official resigned as county governor in November 2016, but remained a councillor on the Bolesławiec County Council. He will now be replaced on the council by Jadwiga Bobek, a community activist, head of the Bolesławiec branch of the Society of Friends of Children and former county councillor.
Jadwiga Bobek did not wish to comment on the matter today. We will return to the subject.
