As reported by the Komitet Obrony Dolnośląskich Linii Kolejowych, from 10 December this year the IC “Karkonosze” train on the Jelenia Góra–Białystok route will depart from Bolesławiec towards Łódź, Warsaw and Podlasie at approximately 22:26, and will return to Bolesławiec at 06:36.
This is the second railway connection between Bolesławiec and Warsaw, after the IC “Konopnicka”. The morning service has been operating since 11 June 2017. – Komitet Obrony Dolnośląskich Linii Kolejowych, which worked to restore these connections, will also advocate restoring a direct railway connection from Węgliniec, Bolesławiec and Legnica to Kraków, Rzeszów and Przemyśl – representatives of the Committee say.
