On Thursday, September 28, Bolesławiec police officers arrested a 32-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality who was wanted because he had a prison sentence to serve for numerous offenses and theft.
The officers established that the wanted 32-year-old might be staying at one of the properties in Nowogrodziec municipality. Although the household members assured them that the thief was not there, the police searched the house. The wanted man was hiding in one of the rooms. He was arrested.
What is more, it emerged that several days earlier the man had stolen a bicycle worth more than PLN 700. (He was charged with another offense).
By court decision, the 32-year-old was taken to pre-trial detention. He now additionally faces up to five years in prison.
