A teacher, philosopher and author of “Bazylek,” a series of books about a father raising a child alone after the parents’ divorce, has passed away. His blog, elka-gra.blog.pl, in which he took on a female persona, became a major success in the blogosphere. He was also a restless spirit, a perceptive observer, an inquisitive researcher of absurdities, and a lover of Fryderyk Chopin’s works. Many people will miss him greatly.
On Thursday, September 28, Jacek Pałka’s funeral was held at the cemetery in Bolesławiec. His family, friends, acquaintances and the town orchestra accompanied him on his final journey. He was 50 years old.
