The ceremony was an opportunity to honor students who, in the previous school year, achieved significant sporting successes at the district level (1st to 3rd place), zone/regional level (1st to 4th place), provincial/macroregional/national level (1st to 10th place), and in international competitions (1st to 10th place)—in the case of individual sports—as well as at the provincial level (1st place), macroregional level (1st to 3rd place), national level (1st to 10th place), and in international competitions (1st to 10th place)—in team sports.

The scholarship recipients received cash awards of PLN 400, 500 and 600, as well as material prizes. In addition, each child received a certificate, while their parents received a congratulatory letter.

At the beginning, the head of Bolesławiec Municipality Andrzej Dutkowski spoke, emphasizing that the Municipality appreciates the sporting efforts of children and young people. Then, together with the chairperson of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council Bogusław Uziej, deputy chairperson Grażyna Łucka, deputy chairperson Michał Gajewski and Municipal Council member Andrzej Szweda, he honored further groups of young athletes.

The artistic program was prepared by students of the Primary School in Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka, led by principal Lilla Liszcz. The ceremony was opened and closed by trumpet player Piotr Liszcz, while Mariola Kojder hosted the event.
