Karol Stasik during the acceptance of another section of the Gierałtów–Czerna road spoke, among other things, about cooperation with Nowogrodziec Gmina:
This cooperation has improved greatly. This year we completed many projects: another stage of the Ocice–Gościszów road; the unpaved road between Gierałtów and Godzieszów; and the unpaved road between the Ocice–Gościszów county road and Kotliska. In Gościszów, we replaced the energy-absorbing barriers.
He added: “For next year, we have planned a number of projects: another section of the road we are accepting [Gierałtów–Czerna – przyp. istotne.pl]. We will build a pavement in Nowogrodziec (towards Gierałtów). We also want to build a pavement in Wykroty and a road between Parzyce and Kierżno.”
“Thanks to the intervention of councillor Zbyszek Mitera, we managed to expand the projects planned for next year in Nowogrodziec Gmina to include projects that had not originally been considered,” Karol Stasik also stressed. “First, the construction of an almost one-kilometre section of road in Kierżno. Second, Zbyszek fought hard for us to continue building the pavement in Wykroty.”
“I am very pleased that the County Board accepted my requests,” said Zbigniew Mitera, a county councillor from Nowogrodziec Gmina. He added that a section of road from the uncontrolled crossing in Zebrzydowa to the crossing in Nowa Wieś would also soon be renovated.
Another county councillor from this gmina, Ryszard Kalus, mentioned how important next year’s construction of a pavement on Słowackiego Street in Nowogrodziec would be: “It will be built at a critical point, where there is a busy road. A large estate of detached houses is being built there. This pavement will truly serve the local people, especially children.”
The situation is similar with regard to investments on county roads in Bolesławiec, which the County is carrying out in cooperation with the City Gmina. “The reconstruction and modernisation of Ogrodowa and Polna streets is nearing completion. The reconstruction of Sądowa Street will begin shortly. The reconstruction of the pavement on Komuny Paryskiej Street has already begun; renovation of the pavement on Zgorzelecka Street is underway,” listed Deputy County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak. “For next year, we have already planned further investments that we will carry out jointly with the City of Bolesławiec.”
These include the bridge and Mostowa Street, Dolne Młyny Street and part of Staszica Street. We will return to the subject.
