On Friday, 22 September, county officials accepted the investment titled “Reconstruction of county road no. 2283D between Gierałtów and Czerna” (Nowogrodziec gmina). The middle section of the road between the aforementioned localities—approximately 800 metres—was renovated. The work was carried out by Sudeckie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych from Jelenia Góra.
– This is a very important road for the residents of Gierałtów, because it provides them with a major shortcut towards Bolesławiec, said Bolesławiec County Head Karol Stasik. The task cost PLN 293,000. Nowogrodziec Gmina contributed PLN 150,000, while the County provided the remainder. – I would like to sincerely thank the authorities of Nowogrodziec Gmina. Cooperation with this gmina has improved significantly, the county head added. – Things are good, but we hope they will get even better, added Antonina Szelechowicz, head of the Nowogrodziec Municipal Council.
The reconstruction included:
- clearing bushes (0.259 ha)
- desilting ditches (1,035 m)
- constructing a new road surface (3,828 sq m)
- constructing new road shoulders (1,546 sq m)
- constructing new access roads.
It is worth adding that the section in Czerna was renovated several years ago, also by Sudeckie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych from Jelenia Góra. The remaining section of the road, approximately 1 km long, is to be reconstructed next year.
