The run will take place at 12 selected stadiums in Poland and in several cities where BiegamBoLubię sessions are held. For the second time, Bolesławiec has been selected by the organisers to participate in the PKO Charity Run.

– The run is open to teams of five, whose task is to complete as many 400-metre laps as possible within 60 minutes. The number of changes is unlimited, but each runner must cover at least 400 metres during one stint. So everyone runs as many laps as they can. They can then rest and complete more laps again – says BBL coach Daniel Najdek.

After the run has ended and the completed kilometres have been counted, the organisers will send PKO documentation summarising the event. On this basis, the Bank will donate money to children in need from Lower Silesia.

– The more teams there are, the greater the assistance provided by the organisers will be – adds coach Dariusz Łomański. – We invite all runners and those who want to support the campaign to the athletics Orlik at Komuny Paryskiej Street this Saturday (16 September).

Registration is open from 10:00 to 10:45. Start: 11:00. Competitions and games have been planned for the youngest children who will not take part in the run.
