The new head of the Orzeł Cultural Integration Centre is Michał Szwed. He will replace Jacek Dudyński, who has become head of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre.
As we read on the Bolesławiec municipal office website:
Michał Szwed is a community activist, scout, originator and founder of the Bolesławiec Film School at the II Private Lower Secondary School named after Captain Krzysztof Baranowski, an instructor at the Film Education Workshop of the Bolesławiec Culture Centre–International Ceramics Centre, as well as a producer and co-creator of Regional Television TVT. On a daily basis, he works with young people, making short films at the Film Education Workshop at BOK-MCC. Under his supervision, young people have created approximately 40 feature films addressing important social issues. He is the producer of more than 100 feature films, documentaries and television programmes.
