A restless night on the A4 motorway. The first accident occurred before midnight. At kilometre 38, a passenger car driver hit a man who was crossing the motorway. The pedestrian died at the scene. Firefighters provided assistance to three people travelling in the car—one of them was taken to hospital.
An hour later, at kilometre 17 of the A4, on the carriageway toward Wrocław, a minibus collided with a truck. The minibus driver was trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters cut open the vehicle and freed the injured man. Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Zgorzelec, as well as volunteer firefighters from Czerna, took part in the operation.
