This year, organizers across Poland are looking for as many as 13,500 volunteers who will organize meaningful assistance for families and children most in need. – In Bolesławiec, we are also looking for people willing to get involved! – says Agnieszka Baszczyj, leader of the Bolesławiec District. SZLACHETNA PACZKA and AKADEMIA PRZYSZŁOŚCI are two nationwide social programs organized by Stowarzyszenie WIOSNA, which have been helping people bring out what is most beautiful in them since 2001.
Who is SuperW?
In SZLACHETNA PACZKA, SuperW, or a volunteer, reaches families who have found themselves in a difficult situation. Through meetings with the family, the volunteer determines what kind of assistance would be meaningful and provide an impetus for change. The volunteer then connects those in need with donors. As many as 79% of Paczka SuperW volunteers believe that participating in the program is the most important experience of their lives.
Throughout the year, AKADEMIA PRZYSZŁOŚCI volunteers meet regularly once a week with children who do not believe in their abilities and cannot find their place in the school environment. Through these meetings, they become friends and mentors to their mentees. SuperW teaches children how to win and guides them from failure at school to success in life.
Without SuperW, there is no Paczka or Akademia
The number of volunteers involved determines how many families and children in need we will be able to help in the upcoming edition. In Bolesławiec alone, we are looking for 28 bold people to join our team!
In last year's edition, thanks to the work of SZLACHETNA PACZKA and AKADEMIA PRZYSZŁOŚCI volunteers, nearly 19,000 families and more than 2,000 children in AKADEMIA PRZYSZŁOŚCI received assistance throughout Poland.
