Changing the world for the better

That is precisely what we do. Every day. Since 2001. It is difficult to describe the purpose of our activities, our mission and our values more briefly. Szlachetna Paczka is one of the largest social programmes in Poland. We connect those who want to help with those who most need support.

Our male and female Volunteers reach Families in need throughout Poland, learn about their difficulties and decide on the best form of assistance. Donors prepare individual support based on the description provided by a Volunteer. And we connect people and create solutions through which one specific person can help another specific person.

Changing

We provide wise help. Wise helping is more than acting for the good. Wise helping leaves a mark. It changes things. We help wisely. We change things.

the world

When we help Families in need, we change not only their lives, but often their world and ours as well. From a world of poverty to a safer world full of opportunities—a world in which we look at others with hope, greater empathy and sensitivity. We change many small worlds, thereby changing our shared world.

for the better

Some expressions contain a beautiful, positive ambiguity—“for the better” may mean “to improve,” but also “for a long time, forever.” This ambiguity is important to us, while also describing very clearly the character and purpose of our programme.

How does Szlachetna Paczka help?

Families in need

We look for people who have found themselves in a difficult situation in life. Older and lonely people, large families, those affected by an unfortunate accident, people who are ill or have disabilities—the Programme reaches those who are often left to cope with difficulties alone, far from the attention of others. They do not ask for help, even though they need it greatly. We help them as we would want someone to help us when poverty affects us. We help in such a way that the change we bring lasts for the better.
