On Friday, 18 August, the duty officer of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police received a report concerning a mess around the waste-bin enclosure on Gdańska Street. The officers determined that the construction waste had been left by the company carrying out renovations on a nearby building.

The officers went to the building manager, who provided them with the details of the company in question. After speaking with his employees, the company's owner confirmed that they were the ones who had left the construction waste on Gdańska Street. The Municipal Police issued a fine and ordered the company to clean up the rubbish. (Which it did immediately).

The Municipal Police reminds residents that it is prohibited both to store waste next to waste-bin enclosures and to dispose of post-renovation waste in municipal waste containers. Construction waste must, immediately after being generated, be placed in a container supplied by an entity holding the relevant permits (and collected by that entity under individual agreements).
