Grzegorz Kasdepke was the editor-in-chief of “Świerszczyk” and collaborated with “Polityka”. He wrote scripts for children’s programmes (“Ciuchcia”, “Budzik”, “Podwieczorek u Mini i Maxa”). He describes himself as: “a journalist by profession, a children’s author by passion”. His works include “Kacperiada” (for which he received the Kornel Makuszyński Literary Award), “Kuba i Buba, czyli awantura do kwadratu”, “Niesporny alfabet” and a series of books about the detective Pozytywka. He is a two-time winner of the prestigious “Edukacja XXI” award (for “Co to znaczy...” and “Bon czy ton”). His writing is characterised by warm humour and an understanding of a child’s psyche.

Kasdepke will meet with the residents of Bolesławiec on Thursday, December 4, at Galeria Format (Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna, ul. Sądowa). The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. Everyone interested will have the opportunity to get the author’s autograph and purchase his books at very attractive prices.
