On Saturday (12 August), BKS hosted Piast Wykroty at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec. The match was played as part of the first round of the Polish Regional Cup. The hosts started the match very well. In the 2nd minute, Marek Majka carried the ball down the right side of the pitch and passed to Łukasz Graczyk, who put Bolesławiec ahead. The visitors responded moments later. Dominik Szydlarski shot towards Dawid Kizyma’s goal, but the ball went just over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Piast equalised. Following a corner, Bojan Milutinowić headed the ball into the goal. In the 19th minute, one of the visiting players handled the ball in the penalty area and the referee awarded a penalty. Łukasz Graczyk stepped up and made it 2–1 to BKS. The score did not change before half-time. The hosts had more of the play, but lacked finishing.
After the teams switched ends, BKS coach Sebastian Tylutki made substitutions in order to give all the players some playing time. The 64th and 67th minutes proved decisive. The visitors equalised through Bojan Milutinowić’s second goal. The final score was then set by his brother – Milos Milutinowić. BKS could not recover from the deficit, although they had no shortage of chances. The relegated fourth-division side won the cup match against the former A-class team and advanced to the next round. BKS will have a chance to take revenge against their opponents in the league competition.
And on Tuesday, 15 August, Bolesławiec will host Lotnik Jeżów Sudeckich at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in a Regional League match. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
