Ceramika Tyrcz has often intervened regarding the access road to the shops of several Bolesławiec ceramic companies. Despite the entrepreneur’s interventions, the road was not cleaned. The owner of Ceramika Tyrcz himself called it “a road forgotten by the city.”
The entrepreneur added that the road could use asphalt and lighting. Foreign guests, including Americans, often travel along it. It would also be very important to put up a speed-limit sign on Kościuszki Street, at least during the Ceramics Days, because “some people drive there like maniacs.”
As we have established, the City will clean this road (after our intervention, it has already done so) and fill in the potholes. As for installing lighting, however, the ceramic companies will have to be patient.
The situation is worst when it comes to the speed limit. The road is administered by the Lower Silesian Road and Railway Service. According to the municipal authorities, there is little chance of putting up such a sign, but officials will intervene in the matter.
