The incident occurred after 2:00 p.m. Firefighters received information about smoke in a multi-unit residential building on Cicha Street.
It turned out that a drunk man had accidentally started a fire in one of the apartments.
Thanks to the swift response, a serious fire was prevented. A pot on the stove burned.
Two fire service units were on the scene (PSP Bolesławiec and OSP Warta Bolesławiecka), along with the police and an ambulance service.
