The Chain of Light is burning throughout Poland. On Sunday and Tuesday, the voices of hundreds of thousands of people rang out in dozens of towns and cities across Poland. Most media attention focused on what was happening outside the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, but this success would not have been possible without the mobilization of residents of many Polish cities, including Bolesławiec.
Independent courts are a matter for all citizens. This is not a dispute over power, but over whether courts—both smaller district courts and appellate courts—will issue judgments free from political pressure.
The action will begin on Thursday, July 20, at 9:00 p.m..
