The Local Development Plan covers three areas: urban infrastructure, the economy and labour market, and the social sphere. Its preparation is a necessary condition for the municipality to apply for European Union structural funds.

The integrated information system is intended to improve the functioning both of Gmina Bolesławiec itself and of other local government units in Lower Silesia.

The councillors also managed to pass a resolution classifying streets as municipal roads and a resolution assigning names to those streets. This time, there was no controversy surrounding the “important issue” of whether the streets should be classified first or named first. The new streets are: Targowa, Ignacego Domeyki, Kamienna, Bazaltowa and Mikołaja Reja.

Other resolutions adopted by the City Council concerned the agricultural tax form template, the forestry tax form template, changes to property tax rates, and changes to the city budget for this year.
