I do not understand why it is done this way: the asphalt is torn up at the beginning of the week and then left that way. I cannot understand why this cannot be done within a week. Driving through there is terrible.

As Katarzyna Biegasiewicz-Mularczyk, spokesperson for Powiat Bolesławiecki, explains, everything is proceeding according to the procedures. The investment is scheduled to be completed on October 31 this year. However, the spokesperson emphasizes that this is merely a precautionary deadline. The contractor has announced that the work will be completed sooner. (If it cannot be completed by the end of August, it should be completed by the end of September).

The powiat on the investment: Ogrodowa and Polna Streets are being renovated by Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych from Jałowiec (Lubań gmina). The work includes renewing the road surface, laying leveling-and-binder and wearing courses made of mineral-asphalt mixtures, and laying sidewalks with concrete paving blocks. At the same time, manholes, telephone and drainage inspection chambers, as well as water and gas valves, will be adjusted.

The renovation of Ogrodowa Street will cost more than PLN 410,000, while Polna Street will cost just under PLN 645,000.
