Below we are publishing the text of the email and the photos we received from Tomasz on 9 July:
Good morning :) I am asking you as a news editorial office to intervene regarding the neglect of the green areas at 8 Al. Wojska Polskiego Street. Since the company "Ogrody Jagielski" took over part of the city's landscaped areas, they have forgotten about AWP 8–10. Last year, MZGM mowed the area. Today, they are washing their hands of it, while TBS is the building manager, and they take turns saying that it is no longer their responsibility. Rent fees are paid to MZGM, while TBS is the manager. The area around the building is overgrown with grass. The housing estates have already been mowed for the second time, and some even for the third time. Nothing at all has been done in the unfortunate area by the building. In addition, after Friday's storm, the tree blown down by the wind was removed from the street by the fire brigade. However, no one has cleared the entire pavement, which is covered with branches and the broken tree. The pavement is impassable. Older people live on our street; to get around the barricade, they have to walk through knee-high grass that has not been cut and has not been touched at all. Dear editorial team, please publish this and intervene in the matter, because TBS and MZGM are washing their hands of it. I am sending photos in the attachments. Thank you in advance. MR TOMASZ.
We contacted TBS Bolesławiec and MZGM Bolesławiec about the matter. We established that TBS is responsible for the building, while MZGM takes care of the greenery. As Janusz Kozioł – Head of the Municipal and Operations Department at MZGM Bolesławiec – assured us, the grass at the property will be mowed. He will try to arrange this for tomorrow (12 July; today's rainy weather does not allow mowing). Regarding the branches and tree limbs lying on the lawns, Janusz Kozioł promised that he would go to the site later today and examine the problem.
