As Kamila Chalewicz-Pudłowska, commander of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police, told us, officers often intervene in situations of this kind. Usually (in 80% of cases), they do so on their own initiative. Residents of Bolesławiec rarely inform the uniformed officers about littered or unsightly places in the City of Ceramics.
The encouraging thing, however, is that so far there has not been a single case in which the owner of such a property failed to comply with an order to clean up the area.
