The deadline for submitting applications for an award for promoting Bolesławiec in 2008 is 15 December. Applications should be submitted to the City Hall secretariat (the town hall) or the Customer Service Office (Piłsudskiego Square – office building).
Both people living in Bolesławiec (or representing our city) and Bolesławiec clubs, teams or organisations have a chance to receive the awards if they have been recognised—in any field—at national level or have made a particular contribution to promoting the city.
Applications for the awards may be submitted by directors and managers of institutions, the authorities of clubs, teams, social and local-government organisations, as well as guardians of candidates for an individual award.
The awards are presented by the mayor after consulting the Economic Development and Finance Committee of the City Council and the Sports Council.
