Joint exercises involving officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec and soldiers from the 43rd Military Economic Department were held in Świętoszów. The command-and-staff exercise “Kasa 2017” was intended to verify and improve the effectiveness of cooperation between services in Bolesławiec County.
The exercise scenario initially envisaged two masked men entering the premises of the military unit. They wounded an employee of SUFO (Specialised Armed Security Formations) who was carrying out a patrol, and then the attackers entered the cash office of the 43rd Military Economic Department.
During the exercise, cooperation between police officers and soldiers, the Military Police and SUFO was tested, as was the flow of information between the participants.
– The exercise was successfully completed, say the Bolesławiec police officers. – The services acted efficiently in a crisis situation, and everyone present at the debriefing expressed their willingness and need to participate in further activities so that, in the event of a real threat, joint action would be just as quick and effective.
