The District Prosecutor's Office in Lubin has filed an indictment with the Regional Court in Legnica against 33-year-old Dariusz N., known by the nickname Kwinto, accusing him of committing three offenses:

  • committing a robbery on August 9, 2014, in Lubin, together with two other perpetrators, using a stun gun. The perpetrators stunned Łukasz Sz.. The attackers beat Sz. and then took his apartment keys, mobile phone and PLN 800. (The incident took place outside one of the gaming salons in Lubin, where Łukasz Sz. and his girlfriend, who worked at the salon, were present. The three suspects were walking toward the couple. The men behaved aggressively. Sz. began to run away. The three assailants chased him. They caught up with him, stunned him and robbed him)
  • possessing a considerable quantity of marijuana: 1,693.94 grams
  • keeping counterfeit banknotes in an apartment in Lubin: 16 100-euro notes and 8 50-euro notes.

Questioned as a suspect, Dariusz N. denied committing the alleged offenses and refused to provide explanations. The defendant had previously been convicted, including for attempted murder. He had also been wanted under an arrest warrant and must serve an eight-year prison sentence for that crime. He faces at least three years in prison without suspension.

The investigation materials concerning the two other co-perpetrators of the robbery were separated for separate proceedings.
