The Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre has two buildings: one at Piłsudskiego Square and one on Chopin Street (CIK Orzeł), where summer art workshops will be held during the holidays. Registration will be held at PITiK from Monday, June 18, 2017. PITiK is open on weekdays from 08:00 to 16:00, or by telephone: 75 645 32 90.
Young children (from the age of 7) can take part in creative art classes led by Magdalena Konieczna, who runs the glass and stained-glass studio at BOK-MCC on a daily basis. With instructor and musician Mirosław Kuc, children (from the age of 7) and teenagers can learn to play the guitar from the basics. Children aged 6 to 16 can try their hand at breakdancing. Agnieszka Radwańska also invites children (from the age of 6) to aerobics classes, which are hugely popular; the children love the interesting set of exercises prepared by the folk-dance instructor.
Instructor and oriental dancer Idalia Kowara-Schmidt invites teenagers and adults to learn the choreography of Modern Beledi and Fan Veils. Idalia is known to dance enthusiasts from several performances on the stage of the Forum hall during the recurring event “From Spain to the Orient”. Learning from such a talented person will certainly be enjoyable and engaging, and bring results.
At the Orzeł Cultural Integration Centre (the building on Chopin Street), classes for amateur actors and stage enthusiasts will be held. Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz will lead acting workshops (from the age of 12), while Michał Szwed, a filmmaker who has made several films and film études with his students, offers film classes. Teenagers and adults can register for vocal workshops with Barbara Lendzian. People passionate about photography will learn the basics of operating a camera with instructor Grzegorz Sidorowicz.
