The project aimed to develop children’s environmental awareness and caring attitude towards nature, as well as to stimulate their interest in the lives of peers from other countries. During the project, the children actively and spontaneously explored nature through multiple senses—sight, hearing, smell and touch—and deepened their knowledge of plants and animals living in the environment through a variety of activities. The project also enabled teachers to exchange professional experiences, develop friendships that had already been established and overcome language barriers.

Five meetings were held as part of the project. In September 2016, a training workshop entitled “Preschool Adventures in the World of Nature” was held in Świeradów-Zdrój for teachers and staff from Poland and the Czech Republic. In October 2016, Polish and Czech children met in Jablonné v Podještědí as part of the “Together, Let’s Protect the Forest” activities. In March 2017, a meeting entitled “The Little Explorer Experiments” was held, and in May a trip was organised to the “Borówkowa Zagroda” Agritourism Farm in Borówki. The project concluded with the Eco Festival.
