A nationwide farmers’ protest is underway. In our county, it is taking place in the zone in Gromadka Municipality. The farmer.pl explains:
Protests by farmers have been planned across the country. In more than 180 locations, farmers will demonstrate against the influx of agricultural products from Ukraine and demand changes to the Common Agricultural Policy.
And adds: – The strike has no single organiser. It is a joint strike by farmers and agricultural organisations, each of which is organised by individual farmers or regional union structures.

The mayor adds: –The Mayor of Gromadka Municipality informs that on 24 January 2024, from 12:00 to 14:00, an assembly will take place on the premises of the Legnica Special Economic Zone (Osła cadastral district, Gromadka Municipality) , in which 20 people will participate. The protesters will travel along the road from the Action company to the Osła 1KA hotel and then line up on the roadside by the hangars.
According to the organiser’s assurances, the assembly may slow traffic without causing major disruptions.
