The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 7, at around 8:00 p.m. Firefighters received a report of a building fire in Nowogrodziec. As we read on the Facebook profile of the Nowogrodziec Volunteer Fire Service:
When we arrived, we found a fully developed fire in the boiler room of an outbuilding. Effective firefighting operations prevented the fire from spreading to the upper floor, where a large amount of wood was stored. Operations inside were hampered by the fairly high temperature and smoke.
Three units from Nowogrodziec and two from Bolesławiec took part in the operation.
