The festival will take place on Sunday, 4 June. It will begin – at 2:00 p.m. – with a performance by the Municipal Brass Band. The programme includes performances by local artists from the “Mały Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble, Dangerous Fire shows, concerts by bands from Jelenia Góra and Bolesławiec, and numerous competitions and games.
– During Sunday’s festival, visitors will be able to sample traditional Polish cakes, eat grilled sausage, black pudding or pork neck, military pea soup, pizza, bread with lard, pierogi, croquettes, ice cream and many other tasty dishes – the organisers list. – Sports competitions, a children’s play area, air hockey, face painting and braid-making will be prepared for children.
The festival programme also includes lotteries, auctions and competitions in which participants can win a television, attractive trips, household and audio-video equipment, and tablets. The proceeds from the event will be allocated to renovation work related to replacing the flooring in the parish church.
