“Takeoff” is a narrative short film directed by Jakub Czyżewski and Wiktoria Kotowicz. It tells the story of two middle-school students who compulsively use the internet. The film is intended to warn young people about the dangers of the internet and the risks posed by drugs. The film was shot from October to March in Bolesławiec. The film delves deeply into the incomprehensible relationship between a daughter and her mother, which leads to numerous conflicts. The film was shot from October to March in Bolesławiec. The screenplay was written by the BOK – MCC Film Education Studio; the cinematographer was Miłosz Ciechanowicz, the sound was recorded by Stanisław Pachnik, and the production manager was Ida Paluszczyszyn. The cast includes Adrianna Burdzy, Ilona Kraśnicka, Katarzyna Krukar, Sylwia Kowalczyk, Karolina Witkowska-Janeczek, Kacper Kurzydło and others.
