The Bolesławiec City Hall has allocated more than PLN 12 million for the project. Under the agreement, Bolesławiec will receive PLN 8,845,100 in funding.

The “Purchase of low-emission buses for public transport in Bolesławiec” project includes the purchase of 13 brand-new low-floor buses meeting the Euro 6 emissions standard. The buses are to be fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities and have a designated space for transporting bicycles. The planned capacity is at least 77 passengers (+ wheelchair user + driver), with at least 20+1 seats.

“We are pleased that our province has rated the project to purchase low-emission buses highly. We want the people of Bolesławiec to breathe clean air; purchasing buses that meet the Euro 6 emissions standard will help reduce so-called low-stack emissions in the city,” Mayor Piotr Roman reports.

The main objective of the “Purchase of low-emission buses for public transport in Bolesławiec” project is to increase the share of low-emission public transport in Bolesławiec and improve the quality of public transport services while reducing transport’s negative impact on the environment. This objective may be achieved by renewing the bus fleet of the Municipal Transport Company.
