The aim of the ranking is to select and reward municipal governments that demonstrate significant activity in supporting physical culture for children and young people, promoting sport and physical recreation, and co-financing the construction of recreational areas or the purchase of sports equipment.
The ranking is compiled in two stages, based on discretionary assessments. In the first stage, the editorial team of Dziennik. Gazeta Prawna awards points for each of the 23 questions in the application form. The 10 municipalities that receive the most points at this stage become ranking winners. In the second stage, the winners receive points from a panel appointed by the organizer. The municipality with the highest total number of points from both stages becomes the winner in the given category.
We will learn which place Rudna Municipality will take among the final 10 during the gala, which will be held on 26 May at the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia.
The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Development and the institutional patronage of the Association of Rural Municipalities of the Republic of Poland, the Association of Polish Cities and the Association of Polish Counties.
