Law and Justice MP Krzysztof Kubów came to Bolesławiec to meet voters from his party. He began with a general presentation of the political situation and complaints about Platforma’s rule.
Three people left the room because they did not want to listen to this, but wanted to ask specific questions. The MP said he would answer later. Two of them returned and were indeed able to ask a question.
At first, the discussion concerned KGHM and the copper tax. Then people also talked about their everyday problems. The mother of an autistic child, who came to the meeting with her son, asked about treatment for rare diseases. The discussion became substantive. There were questions about lignite deposits near Legnica and the possibility of exploiting them. Krzysztof Kubów informed those present that, for now, the PiS government had no plans regarding these resources.
A question was asked about judicial reform. The MP replied that PiS would not give up and would introduce the reform, although they were prepared for resistance, as in the case of the Tribunal. According to the MP, resistance from the judicial community best demonstrates that the reform is necessary.
One of the women in the audience made a strong accusation. She asked why women with one child did not receive 500+ support and stated that PiS had thereby divided people into better and worse. The MP replied that the 500+ programme was intended to encourage people to enlarge their families, and that the programme was pro-family rather than social.
At the end, the MP promised that he would visit Bolesławiec more often.
