On Thursday, 20 April, 11 teams from 7 schools in three voivodeships (Lubusz, Greater Poland and Lower Silesian) took part in the two-stage competition. The 5 best teams advanced to the final, including one of the “Budowlanka” teams. In the individual classification, students of the Construction School Complex in Bolesławiec won the top two places:
- Dawid Gorczyca in the bricklayer-plasterer category
- Piotr Staniszewski in the floor-layer-tiler category.
And in the team classification, the Bolesławiec team, coached by teacher Bronisław Sołek, took 3rd place!
Both the students and the school received excellent prizes funded by the tournament’s sponsors. “It is almost frightening to take our students anywhere; this year they are winning everything they can. This year has been exceptionally fruitful for our Building Technology School,” representatives of the Construction School Complex community say.
