Cyclists can rest assured: what you see now is not the finished trail. The surface will be paved and comfortable for cycling enthusiasts. To protect the new trail from damage and ensure comfort for cyclists and walkers using it, quad bikes will be banned from the Bobrowa Trail area. Signs and posts restricting access for motor vehicles will be installed along the trail.
The paving and levelling of two kilometres of the cycling and running route is intended to serve residents and tourists. Using funds obtained through a European Union project, Miejski Ośrodek Sportu i Rekreacji installed a shelter, wooden benches and new rubbish bins along the trail. There will also be a bicycle rack and outdoor fitness stations.
Unfortunately, vandals and litterbugs are already at work. They have managed to damage the table under the shelter (a vandal carved stupid inscriptions into it). Litterbugs have already left rubbish and smashed alcohol bottles. There is dangerous broken glass along the route. We are counting on increased patrols by the police and Straż Miejska, as well as fines and warnings for vandals and litterbugs, so that this place can be enjoyed by people who respect and care for the environment.
