The operation began on Friday at 2:00 p.m. and ended on Monday at 10:00 p.m. Nearly three hundred uniformed officers, including 117 traffic police officers, watched over safety on the roads of Legnica County. The officers detained 2 drunk drivers and 6 drivers who decided to drive under the influence of drugs. All eight could face up to two years in prison.
In addition, Legnica police officers revoked 6 driving licences from drivers who exceeded the speed limit by more than 50 km/h.
