In Catholic churches, at the end of the Good Friday liturgy, the Blessed Sacrament is placed in a location symbolizing Christ’s tomb. In the Bolesławiec garrison church on Łasicka Street, this place looks rather unusual. Firearms, knives and other military accessories have been arranged around the monstrance. There is also a sculpture of Christ, a flag with an infant and a sash bearing the inscription “Lord, we beg You for peace”.
Do other parishes also have such unusual tombs?
