Designers encourage us to experiment with forms and different combinations. However, this decade was not the only inspiration for fashion houses. One example is a trend that will undoubtedly be adopted very quickly by the younger generation: printed T-shirts. Everyone wants to be unique and noticed, and a chosen outfit can make that easier.
Hence the trend for various kinds of prints on every item of clothing. It may be a dress, a jacket or simply an ordinary white T-shirt. Most often, these are short maxims or slogans with which the “wearer” identifies. Nowadays, clothing is no longer treated merely as something practical or attractive. Through it, people can express themselves, their personality or their opinion on a given subject.
Squares, rectangles, diamonds and other geometric shapes are another example of a trend visible in spring collections, such as those by Chloe. Geometry has appeared on every item of clothing. It certainly cannot be missing from spring–summer outfits. I also have to mention stripes, which are this year’s hit. The stripes are supposed to be of varying widths.
For another season, designers are taking us on safari and presenting collections that fit into the savannah landscape. Khaki is their leading color, but beige has not been overlooked either. Combining these colors will produce an excellent effect and we will certainly be noticed.
