The county government has already announced a tender for the renovation of the county road running through Ocice (Bolesławiec municipality). The investment is worth PLN 2 million. The aim? To prepare this road so that it can become the official detour while the reconstruction of provincial road No. 297 on the Bolesławiec–Lwówek Śląski section is underway.
However, for this to happen, the entire section between Lwówek and road 94 in Brzeźnik must be brought into proper condition. The contractor carrying out the reconstruction of road 297 will receive additional funds for this purpose from the budget of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. A so-called five-centimetre asphalt overlay will be laid along this route. It is not yet known when work on this section will begin. As Bolesławiec County head istotne.pl told the service, Karol Stasik, arrangements on the matter are ongoing.
Meanwhile, the tender for the renovation of the road through Ocice is to be decided in mid-April. And if everything goes well, repairs to one of the worst roads in our county will begin later this month.
