The funds come from a surplus of cash in the budget’s current account. Bolesławiec City Council allocated the funds, among other things, to the following renovations, investments and preparation of documentation scheduled for completion this year:
- co-financing the reconstruction of county roads: ul. Polna, ul. Ogrodowa and ul. Sądowa
- road renovation ul. Tulipanowa and ul. Narcyzów: laying a wearing course
- permanent surfacing of unpaved roads with construction plates – ul. Grabowa and ul. Morelowa
- construction of the road ul. Miłosza, stage II – construction of a pedestrian and vehicle route with drainage and lighting
- construction of the road – ul. Jaśminowa
- modernisation of the traffic lights at the intersection of ul. Zgorzelecka and ul. 10 Marca
- construction of traffic lights – al. Tysiąclecia
- the task “Maintenance of internal, unpaved roads in newly built housing estates” – permanent surfacing of unpaved roads with construction plates: the link between ul. Rumianków and ul. Modrzewiową, ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego (rear area) – an access road to garages and properties
- construction of roads in the area of ul. Warszawska – Gdańska – Śluzowa – ul. Rotmistrza Pileckiego, stage I – comprehensive construction works on the road section of ul. Rotmistrza Pileckiego, 12 m wide, including the construction of sidewalks on both sides, a roadway and a bicycle path
- the task “Construction of an access road to the garages at ul. Staroszkolna” – construction of a service road using construction plates
- renovation of stairwells at ul. Gdańska 20 and 21
- renovation of the surfaces of paths in the park at ul. Obrońców Helu
- reconstruction of the rear facilities at ul. Komuny Paryskiej 8 to 23
- thermal modernisation of the building at ul. 1 Maja 6 – thermal insulation of the building
- reconstruction of the outdoor stairs at ul. Asnyka
- renovation and reconstruction of rooms at MPP 3 at ul. Dolne Młyny 42a – adapting the rooms for an additional playroom
- the task “Construction of lighting for the pedestrian and bicycle route from ul. Piastów to the Biedronka store”
- construction of lighting on Jagiellonów, Kościuszki and Modłowa streets
- the task “Construction of a playground at ul. Piastów”
- preparation of documentation and construction works for a groundwater-lowering system in the area of the swimming-pool basin – a small water-retention reservoir with pools and equipment at ul. Jeleniogórska, at the “Leśny Potok” Recreation and Leisure Centre
- protection against graffiti for the amphitheatre in the Municipal Park in Bolesławiec; preparation of design documentation for the construction of a band shell at the amphitheatre in the Municipal Park in Bolesławiec
- the task “Modernisation and expansion of the municipal stadium in Bolesławiec – preparation of an audit of the design and cost-estimate documentation”
- the task “Development of the area on the Bóbr River for sports and recreation.”
The catalogue of tasks also included the following items:
- staging musical performances and concerts for primary and lower-secondary school pupils
- the task “Boleslavec – Vrchlabí – aktivni přeshraniční spolupráce muzeí/Bolesławiec – Vrchlabi – aktywna transgraniczna współpraca muzeów”, co-financed under the Interreg Va RCz-Pl 2014–2020 programme, priority 4
- purchase of a pool vacuum cleaner for the “Leśny Potok” Recreation and Leisure Centre
- purchase of infrared sauna heaters, colour therapy for the steam sauna and additional equipment for Termy Bolesławiec (a rehabilitation table, photometer, dryers, etc.)
- purchase of an ice resurfacer (an ice-cleaning machine).
In 2017, the planned revenue after the changes amounted to PLN 177,410,505, while planned expenditure after the changes amounted to PLN 177,884,865. The budget deficit of PLN 474,360 will be financed with revenue from free funds.
