We have good news for the residents of Bolesławiec and tourists visiting our city. Conservation and repair work on the clock in the town hall tower has been completed. The restoration of the Bolesławiec clock included, among other things, replacing plain bearings, polishing wheel journals, and dismantling and bushing the hands’ transmission.

The renovation also included repairing the joints, sandblasting, painting and applying anti-corrosion protection. The work was carried out by the company “Roland” from Zabrze. It is worth recalling that the clock was made in 1885 at the well-known C. Weiss clock factory in Głogów and has been keeping time for the residents of Bolesławiec since 1886.
