The performance “Sceny łużkofe” and the opening of a photography exhibition launched the “Her and Him” series of events on Friday. Artistic activities will take place every week at Concordia on Orla Street. The work of people from Bolesławiec and the surrounding area will be presented—both well-known figures and those who are only beginning their artistic journey.

The project’s main organizer is Bolesławiec resident Grzegorz Roman. Initially, he wanted to carry out his idea together with the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre. However, the municipal institution did not participate. Grzegorz Roman instead found support from the “Via Sudetica” Association, the “Ziemia Bolesławiecka” Association and many private individuals.

“I was in contact with people who wanted to create something. Together, we made it happen; I only coordinated it,” Grzegorz Roman told the IstotneInformacje.pl portal. “He did not receive any support. From the authorities, he probably got a kind word. That is a little too little,” says municipal councillor Ewa Ołenicz-Bernacka.
