Organized for three years by Stowarzyszenie Via Sudetica in cooperation with Xtrabike Bolesławiec, the amateur MTB cycling race is becoming increasingly popular among cycling enthusiasts. Developed with significant input from Nadleśnictwo Bolesławiec, this year's route will provide a positive experience both for complete amateurs and for more experienced riders. There will be 5 age categories in the women's group and 7 in the men's group. Attention! For the first time, there will be an additional classification for “fatbike” bicycles, that is, so-called fatties (minimum tire width: 3.7 inches). There will also be a race for the youngest participants.
The sponsors of the prizes in the 3rd Ceramic Xtrabike Marathon MTB, a companion event to the Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival, are: Shimano Polska, Xtrabike SSC Bolesławiec, Brunox, Centrum Edukacyjne Opus, Bodygo, Cezar Fitness Club, Sala Zabaw Oli and Zamek Kliczków. It has already become a tradition of the race that one of the prizes is an MTB bicycle funded by the President of the City of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman, which is raffled among all competition participants.
The organization of the Bolesławiec “ceramic” race is supported by local ceramics companies: Ceramika Artystyczna, WR Ceramika and Zakłady Ceramiczne Bolesławiec, as well as MZGK w Bolesławcu, BOK-MCC and Powiat Bolesławiecki. The organizers invite you on Saturday, 20 August, from 7:30 a.m., to the park grounds beneath the railway viaduct in Bolesławiec (Cieszkowskiego Street).
